  • Safety of Glendale residents is the Fire Department’s #1 priority. Providing all Glendale residents and businesses access to first-rate, cutting-edge fire fighting equipment is of utmost importance. The current firetruck has served Glendale residents very well, but is in need of replacement. The technology in new firetrucks today far exceeds that which Glendale has. The existing firetruck was graciously paid for by a single Glendale family. It will be sold at current market value and all proceeds from its sale will go toward the purchase of the new firetruck. Expected market value is in the range of $25,000-$35,000. The Glendale Legacy Foundation welcomes gifts of all sizes toward the purchase of the new firetruck.

  • We’re all stewards of this great Village we call home. We’re here to build upon its foundation, enhance and improve it for the generations of Glendale families yet to come. We are called to live responsibly, with integrity, generosity and to love thy neighbor, yet there are times when it’s necessary to join forces with our friends, families and neighbors and pool our resources to fund certain initiatives. Every Glendale resident is invited to support all the Glendale Legacy Foundation initiatives that come along. We want to give everyone the opportunity to give a gift and support what you feel in your heart, to be good stewards of our beloved Glendale.

  • The Overall Vision of the Glendale Legacy Foundation is that each priority must:

    • Support the Village of Glendale and be in alignment with the Village of Glendale Capital Plan

    • Enhance & Improve life in the Village of Glendale

    • Prioritize Health, Safety and Quality of Life for all residents

    • All fundraising must be for a project the Village Council would approve

    • No political issues nor candidates will be supported
